Seattle Center is home to the Space Needle, but features a variety of other neat museums as well.
## Sights and Sounds
### Space Needle

It's undoubtedly very iconic and it does have a great view. However, it's also pricy and often has a super long line to enter. I think it makes sense to go once and scratch it off the bucket list, and only now and then afterwards if you liked it the first time.
### Chihuly Garden and Glass

This museum features a ton of Dale Chihuly's glass work and does a good job showing how it evolved over time as you progress through the exhibits.
It's a bit pricy for amount of content included, but well worth seeing once if you haven't been before. You can buy discounted bundled tickets for this and the [[#Space Needle]], which would be a good pairing.
### Museum of Pop Culture

Founded by Paul Allen, this museum has expanded from its original focus on Jimi Hendrix and Rock and Roll to now include a wide variety of pop culture memorabilia.
I've always enjoyed the "SoundLab" interactive area where you can play a variety instruments with instructional tutorials or even record in a sound booth. (It brings out my inner Bob Dylan.) The Sci-Fi and Fantasy exhibits are generally pretty exciting if you're a nerd like me. 🧑🔬

This museum has been closed for a bunch of years due to the pandemic, but as of July 2022 it's opening again. A great science center with a bunch of kid friendly exhibits. Teach your children well!
